Cameron Carr is among the players the Milwaukee Bucks have spoken with as the NBA Draft nears, per The Athletic's Eric Nehm. After a solid season with the Baylor Bears, Carr was already projected to be a first-round pick, but his impressive showing at the NBA Draft Combine has only further raised his stock to the point where he could be bordering on going top 10-15.

Carr is dazzling at the NBA Combine

If teams weren't already paying attention to Carr, they sure are now. The wing just dropped 30 points and seven rebounds with six 3-point makes during a scrimmage. Talk about introducing yourself to the crowd, sheesh. That goes without mentioning his athletic measurements, including posting the second-best max vertical at the combine.

The appeal with Carr is beyond clear. With three years of college under his belt, he's a ready-to-help contributor who could slot into any rotation on day one. His elite athleticism, paired with impressive long-distance marksmanship—shooting 37.4 percent from deep on 6.1 attempts per game this past year—could be useful to an array of teams looking to beef up their wing rotation.

The wing is likely shooting up team's big boards, and the Milwaukee Bucks should be among them.

Carr would be a seamless fit with the Bucks

For years, the Milwaukee Bucks have been looking for a wing with tremendous athleticism, outside shooting, solid defense, and scoring ability. Carr checks off those boxes. At 6-foot-5, 185 lbs, Carr might not be the big wing defender Milwaukee needs, but he still has the makings of being a useful piece for a Bucks team that could always use more bodies on the wing.

That is particularly true with all of the uncertainty Milwaukee faces at the position. Gary Trent Jr. is likely gone after yet another year of inconsistency. Ousmane Dieng's return is far from set in stone. Taurean Prince and Gary Harris can also leave in free agency. If the Milwaukee Bucks need bodies on the wing, drafting someone like Carr would be incredibly justified.

Adding to Carr's desirability is the fact that he'd fit in either direction the Bucks go in this offseason. If Giannis Antetokounmpo stays, Carr could fit seamlessly next to him as a 3-and-D wing to provide him with a steady kick-out threat. If Giannis departs, Carr is still just 21 and could become a foundational piece of Milwaukee's likely youth-driven roster retooling.

Carr still has more work to do before anyone crowns him a top-10 pick, but he's off to a great start.
