Trade chatter across the NBA is heating up, and a particularly interesting rumor came out on Tuesday involving the Milwaukee Bucks.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that the Bucks were expressing interest in both Caleb Martin and Cody Martin, a pair of twin brothers. Of the two, Caleb is the better player, and he would have been a strong pickup for a team that could use another young defensive wing. However, that report was out there for about an hour before Caleb was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, who have been in the news quite a bit lately.

There was a lot to like about Caleb Martin. While he wasn't as good as he was during his recent time with the Miami Heat, the former Philadelphia 76er brought his trademark defense, hustle and outside shooting. The most interesting aspect of his game was that he was always a playoff riser, stepping up in the biggest moments, which is something this Milwaukee team could have used.

Now, the Milwaukee Bucks must pivot elsewhere as they look to beef up this roster with outside help.

The Milwaukee Bucks are clearly looking for help on the wing

In a separate reporting, Fischer made it clear that Milwaukee was calling around looking for help on the wing. They've been linked to names such as Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram and the Martin twins, further backing up that rumor. It makes sense, as the Bucks are primarily relying on young players and a recovering Khris Middleton to run the operation, so some added support would be nice.

Right now, it's anyone's guess what the Milwaukee Bucks could do. Until he gets traded elsewhere, the Bucks are certainly still in the running for Jimmy Butler. With rumors about Kevin Durant possibly being available making the rounds, they also cannot be ruled out there. Cody Martin would be a nice backup plan, but a big fish makes a lot more sense at the time of this writing.

With the NBA Trade Deadline just one day away, the Milwaukee Bucks will remain aggressive in their pursuit of upgrades. With Zach LaVine and Caleb Martin, two names they had been linked to, off the board following recent trades, the pool of targets is getting smaller, but there are still plenty of solid players out there who would make nice additions in Milwaukee.
