The Milwaukee Bucks' 2025-26 season will officially conclude once they face off with the Philadelphia 76ers Sunday afternoon. Who will Bucks fans get to see in the season finale? Not a lot of the regulars. Milwaukee has submitted a lengthy injury report, making it clear that this will be yet another game in which they are short-handed.
Bucks' injury report against 76ers is lengthy
Here is a look at what the Bucks are working with Sunday afternoon:
Out: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Left Knee Hyperextension; Bone Bruise), Kyle Kuzma (Right Achilles Tendonopathy), Kevin Porter Jr. (Right Knee Surgery), Bobby Portis Jr. (Left Wrist Sprain), Ryan Rollins (Right Thumb Sprain), Gary Trent Jr. (Internal Oblique Muscle Strain), Myles Turner (Left Ankle Sprain)
Questionable: Gary Harris (Right Groin Tightness), Pete Nance (Right Knee Sprain)
The only players without an injury designation are AJ Green, Ousmane Dieng, Jericho Sims, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Alex Antetokounmpo, Cormac Ryan, Taurean Prince, and Andre Jackson Jr. It will be a shortened rotation for the Milwaukee Bucks in this one, without a doubt. If someone has so much as a scratch, the Bucks don't see the reward in playing them, it appears.
It's the right call.
Injuries have taken this team hostage all year long, and once their playoff hopes came crashing down, it was clear that the Bucks needed to look ahead. Despite wanting to play, Giannis simply isn't healthy enough to get on the floor, and there would be little incentive for him to do so outside of wanting to play with his brothers. With an uncertain summer ahead, the risk outweighed the reward.
Bucks still have some interesting pieces playing against 76ers
With no shortage of regulars beat up, some of the Milwaukee Bucks buried deep in the rotation have gotten an opportunity to shine. Cormac Ryan takes the top spot in that regard, with the wing showing he can help this team on a major scale. Ousmane Dieng continues to spread his wings and increase his value leading up to free agency. Both players are impacting their careers in the long-term.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks will face a relatively healthy 76ers squad. Joel Embiid is their lone big fish set to be out after the center recently underwent an Appendectomy. Tyrese Maxey is set to be available despite a tendon strain in his finger. It won't be easy, but time will tell if the Bucks can end the season with a win and close the door on a miserable year.
