The Milwaukee Bucks saw plenty of players depart this summer after their least successful season in a long time. Change was needed, though time will tell if the right players changed environments over these past few months. With that said, let's see who went where after leaving Milwaukee.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis - Miami
Obviously, the biggest domino was the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade. After a year of rumors, the two sides finally parted ways, and the Greek Freak took Bobby Portis to Miami with him. Everyone playing a part in this trade was seemingly ready for a fresh start. Antetokounmpo and Portis can push for the postseason while the Bucks retool with a youth-driven approach in mind.
Taurean Prince and Gary Harris - Detroit
In perhaps their most underrated move of the summer, the Bucks sent Prince and Harris to Detroit in exchange for Caris LeVert and two second-round picks. For simply taking on a bit more salary, which gave the Pistons some wiggle room, Milwaukee picked up two more second-round picks to add to the war chest and got a solid veteran on an expiring deal. Good stuff.
Andre Jackson Jr. - Toronto
Jackson has been on thin ice with the Bucks due to their constant roster maneuvering over this past year, and he finally made his way out the door. The guard has inked a deal with Toronto, where he will fight for a roster spot in camp. Jackson had some of the most potential of Milwaukee's recent draft picks, but just like them, he failed to truly pan out.
Cole Anthony, Alex Antetokounmpo, and Amir Coffey - Overseas
Before potentially resuming their NBA careers, several Bucks are heading overseas. Cole Anthony has signed to play for Melbourne United, the youngest Antetokounmpo is joining Promitheas Patras, and Amir Coffey is set to play for Hapoel Tel Aviv. None of them played a prominent role with the Bucks last season, though Anthony and Coffey did help the Bucks land Ousmane Dieng in a trade.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Cam Thomas, and Mark Sears - Unsiged
While other players have hunkered down in their new homes, several are still surveying the market. Thanasis seemingly won't be joining Giannis in Miami, so perhaps he heads overseas. After his stint with the Bucks, Thomas is seemingly a player teams don't want to touch. Mark Sears, who looked like an undrafted gem last summer, also is waiting on his next big opportunity.
