The Milwaukee Bucks got knocked out of the NBA Playoffs early, but several former players are still looking to hoist the Larry O'Brien. Let's highlight a few players.
Jrue Holiday, Boston Celtics
One of the most celebrated Bucks of the past decade thanks to his contributions in the 2021 title run, Holiday is currently a member of the Boston Celtics. After winning a ring with Boston last season, the star guard is currently seeking his third NBA Championship.
Luke Kornet, Boston Celtics
No one would blame you if you forgot Luke Kornet played for the Milwaukee Bucks. As they navigated Brook Lopez's back injury in 2021-22, Kornet appeared in one game for three minutes as a Buck. He's now a solid reserve center for the Celtics, always ready to provide support off the bench.
Torrey Craig, Boston Celtics
Torrey Craig's tenure with the Bucks was weird from the start, with the wing never finding his footing and eventually being traded during the title season despite having initial promise. The journeyman is now a member of the Celtics, serving as depth.
Delon Wright, New York Knicks
The Milwaukee Bucks' decision to bring in Delon Wright last offseason had plenty of potential, but the guard quickly fell out of the rotation and didn't make it through the season. To open the door for guard Ryan Rollins, Milwaukee sent Wright to the Knicks, who sent back eye-catching big man Jericho Sims.
Cameron Payne, New York Knicks
Another backup point guard who didn't make it through the year when the Bucks signed them in free agency, Cameron Payne is also with the Knicks. Payne briefly suited up in Milwaukee in 2023-24,and he is now a nice backup for a high-octane New York team.
MarJon Beauchamp*, New York Knicks
*As a two-way player, Beauchamp technically cannot play in the playoffs. The Bucks cut ties with their 2022 first-round pick at this year's deadline, moving him straight up for Kevin Porter Jr. That has been a significant win for the franchise, and it will remain that way if they retain Porter this offseason.
P.J. Tucker, New York Knicks
A beloved fan favorite for his defense, hustle and intensity, all of which helped the Bucks in it all back in 2021, P.J. Tucker is now trying to do the same in New York. He doesn't play as much of a role, but his leadership and presence have been a big boost to that group.
Sam Merrill, Cleveland Cavaliers
After winning a ring with the Milwaukee Bucks during his rookie season, Sam Merrill is looking for his second one. The guard has given the Cavaliers a nice spark thus far, and with injuries hitting the team, he's even found himself starting a handful of games.
Gary Payton II, Golden State Warriors
Gary Payton II, the son of fellow former Buck Gary Payton, appeared in 18 games with the franchise to kick off his career back in 2016. Since then, the guard has primarily made a living with the Warriors, where he won a ring in 2022 and is currently looking for another.
Joe Ingles, Minnesota Timberwolves
The Bucks' Joe Ingles experiment in 2022-23 didn't exactly pan out how they hoped. Since then, the veteran has primarily served as a mentor and leader during stops with the Orlando Magic and now the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Donte DiVincenzo, Minnesota Timberwolves
Technically, Donte DiVincenzo has a ring with the Bucks in 2021, though he missed most of the title run due to injury. He's currently looking to add another to his list of accomplishments as a key cog in Minnesota.
