Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has once again clarified how he would feel about leaving the franchise with constant noise surrounding his future.

Per Harris Stavrou, Giannis appeared on Cosmote TV. Speaking on his future, he said " "If i get a text from my GM, i will share the news with my family & i'll go do my job. I'm getting paid good money to do this job. I would go anywhere i feel they need me. I'm not a guy who's going to ask for a trade, they should kick me out".

This is music to Milwaukee Bucks' fans but also something we have all known for so long despite constant rumors being thrown around by other members of the media, suggesting Giannis would be on the move.

Giannis wants to stay with the Bucks and hopes they can contend

Every single time this topic comes up, it feels like Giannis does his own version of Leonardo DiCaprio's speech in "The Wolf Of Wall Street." He has made it clear he isn't leaving, and the Cosmote interview shows he won't ask for a trade, indicating it will be up to someone else to make the decision should the franchise decide it's time to move on.

It has been another spectacular season from Giannis personally as he continues to be in MVP conversations, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic have both pulled away thanks to their superior team records. The Greek Freak is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists with 1.3 blocks per game. He is shooting 60.8 percent from the field thanks to a much improved mid-range game.

We still haven't seen him and Kyle Kuzma partner on the court, and that duo could be a real catalyst for the Bucks down the stretch, even more so with Bobby Portis now suspended for a prolonged period of time. There is the opportunity for Kuzma to play the three and Giannis the four, but the latter has shown his ability to play at center, and having Kuzma then play the four will give the Bucks a great sense of athleticism in the frontcourt that has been lacking.

ESPN's Shams Charania has said that "Giannis loves the Bucks but loves winning more." Whether the moves made this trade deadline work or not, the front office has shown the guts to make moves to try to be a contender year after year. As of right now, Giannis isn't going anywhere unless he is kicked out by the organization.
