For a few years now, there has been an internal debate between Milwaukee Bucks fans on who the franchise's best player ever is.

Some say it's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while others are rolling with Giannis Antetokounmpo. No matter who one picks, the truth is that Antetokounmpo's case is far from finish. Giannis gets to add onto his legacy every single night, and that's exactly what he did against the San Antonio Spurs, surpassing his rival in this little competition for a key record in Milwaukee's history books.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo keeps earning records

With the Spurs and Victor Wembanyama in town for a late clash, Giannis and the Bucks had a chance to show what they were made of on the nationally televised stage. They didn't disappoint.

Although he didn't lead the team in scoring, that honor belonged to Damian Lillard and his 26 points, Giannis had himself a game with 25 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. With that line, Giannis has tallied the most double-doubles in Milwaukee Bucks history, passing none other than Abdul-Jabbar. The record previously stood for decades, but Giannis has claimed his stop atop the leaderboard.

As long as the Milwaukee Bucks win the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo is happy; he has never dialed in on these individual accolades. They might look nice in the record books and on his resume when fans are having basketball-related debates, but they don't hand out trophies for these types of things, and that's what he's truly focused on.

Other factors that helped the Milwaukee Bucks secure their 121-105 victory were the 26 points by Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez knocking down five triples to notch 22 points, and the prolific bench duo of AJ Green and Gary Trent Jr. combining to score 28 points. When this group is knocking down the 3-pointer while playing tough defense, they are tough to beat, as evidenced in this game.

On the other side of things, Milwaukee did a nice job of limiting Wembanyama, who had ten points on ten shot attempts to go with ten rebounds. Whenever he and the Greek Freak were matched up, it felt like Antetokounmpo took things personally. People tend to forget just how formidable of a defender Giannis is, whether it is in one-on-one or help situations.

Between this and the Milwaukee Bucks' win over the Toronto Raptors, the team has now started yet another win streak.
