"Why would anyone want to go to Milwaukee, Wisconsin?" It's a question analysts and fans have all posed for years when talking about players joining the Bucks. Sure, Milwaukee isn't as glamorous as cities like Los Angeles or New York, but sometimes, that's not what a player cares about. Newcomer Myles Turner is the perfect example of that, as he's embraced the city in such a short time.

When a Bucks fan page posted a collage of Turner's recent activities in Wisconsin with a caption highlighting how much the big man must like Wisconsin, he responded with "Facts! Yall Spoiling Me With This Weather [right now]." The newcomer hasn't even played a game yet, but it's clear that he isn't buying the narrative that so many others have pushed about the city.

Turner is soaking up all of Wisconsin after joining Bucks

It's been a busy few days for Turner. He's been up to Green Bay to watch the Packers with fellow Buck AJ Green, who is still on extension watch, has asked around for food recommendations, and has been taking in the weather. Fall is an underrated time in Wisconsin, and Turner is taking it all in before his first training camp with the Milwaukee Bucks begins.

It shouldn't be surprising that Turner is a fan of Milwaukee thus far. He spent his entire 10-year career with the Indiana Pacers prior to joining the Bucks this summer. He was not seeing the bright lights of LA or New York out there either. Perhaps that connection has helped make this an easy change for the center despite changing teams for the first time in the NBA.

Of course, Turner didn't come to Milwaukee to sightsee. He came there to win, and he has a great shot to do so, despite what many think. The big man is the perfect fit for this roster and was the best name left on the free agent market when the Milwaukee Bucks signed him. As good as Brook Lopez was in his seven years with the franchise, it was time for change, and this couldn't have gone better.

Between Myles Turner signing with the Milwaukee Bucks and Micah Parsons approving a trade to join the Green Bay Packers, the days of saying players don't want to play in Wisconsin are over. Players know they have a chance to compete in the state, and that's what ultimately matters.
