Question 2: Can Damian Lillard be more efficient and consistent?

Although his struggles last season are somewhat overblown, Lillard will definitely be looking for a bounce-back year in his second season in Milwaukee. Last season, he averaged 24 points and seven assists while averaging fewer than three turnovers, the only player in the NBA to do that.

The issues with Lillard came more with his shooting efficiency, as he shot just 42.4 percent from the field, his lowest in a full season since 2015, and 35.4 percent from three, his lowest in a full season since 2014.

His overall true shooting percentage of 59 percent was fine, thanks to him getting to the line a lot, but his numbers from the field could definitely be improved. For his career, Dame is more of a 44 percent field goal shooter and 37 percent three-point shooter. If he can just get his percentages up a couple of points with a little more consistency, it could make a very big difference.

Lillard had 21 games last season where he shot 35 percent or worse from the field. He will always have some of these games, given that he is a small guard and a jump shooter, but ideally that number can be cut almost in half.

Lillard is likely going to put up a solid 25 points and seven assists again, but the key will be his efficiency and consistency from the field. If he can just improve that a little bit, the Milwaukee Bucks will be a lot more dangerous.
