Tier 2 - Nice Addition

The next tier is those players that would be nice additions to the roster that shouldn't cost too much. Maybe not willing to go all out to get but if available and for a good price would be try additions for the Bucks.

The first name here is Royce O'Neale. He is mentioned every year as a trade target for contenders and, yet again, is on the Bucks' radar. In 24 minutes, he is averaging 7.2 points while shooting 38.8 percent from the field and 36.6 from three. The Bucks would ask him to be a reliable shooter and take tough defensive assignments. He and Jae Crowder would likely alternate, and both would be tasked with doing the same job.

Another name mentioned for a lot of teams is Bruce Brown of the Toronto Raptors. The wing won the NBA title with the Denver Nuggets last season, signed with the Indiana Pacers in the off-season and then was traded to Toronto as part of the Pascal Siakam deal. Another solid wing player who can defend and hit the three consistently. The asking price may be a little high, with the Raptors setting an initial price of a first-round pick, but if the Bucks can navigate that for a cheaper deal, then he would be a great piece to have.

The final player in this tier, and another that is experienced, is Delon Wright of the Washington Wizards. The 6-foot-5 guard would be a nice addition for the Bucks and would likely see Cam Payne go the other way. Both have similar offensive productions, but the size and defensive capabilities that Wright provides make him a great target.

He is averaging 4.4 points per game on 38.6 percent shooting from the field, with over a steal per game. His 117.4 defensive rating would put him fourth on the Bucks and way ahead of Payne's 120 rating. At just $8.2 million for this season and a free agent in the summer, he should come quite cheap for the Bucks, and his defensive impact in stopping other guards in the East could help mightily.

Both players would have a positive impact and are experienced heads now in the NBA. They have cheap contracts to trade for, and with the Bucks' lack of assets, these guys would make nice additions.
