4 former Bucks who would’ve turned Milwaukee into title favorites

Malcolm Brogdon
Bucks fans will never forget the magical run Malcolm Brogdon had in Milwaukee to begin his career. Drafted by the franchise, Brogdon came from a University of Virginia program where he developed into a star four-year player, a dying breed in college basketball. As such, he came into the league more experienced than many of his peers.
The result was him winning Rookie of the Year during the 2016-17 season. Malcolm took the league by storm, even throwing down an unthinkable dunk on LeBron James just a couple of months into his professional career. After shooting north of 40% from three while mostly coming off the bench, Brogdon finished 11th in the league in Sixth Man of the Year voting as well.
When he was signed-and-traded to the Pacers during the 2019 offseason, Malcolm went to Indiana and continued his impressive play there. He started playing at point guard full time, and put up a career-high 21.2 points during the 2020-21 season.
Heading to the Boston Celtics in 2022, Brogdon came off the bench for the first time since his second season and took home the Sixth Man of the Year award. Still playing at a very high level in Portland, the Bucks would certainly love to have him around this season.
