Former Bucks free agents staying in the NBA

Tobias Harris - Detroit Pistons

It's been a decade since Tobias Harris was a Milwaukee Buck, but he still counts. After spending six seasons in Philadelphia, he's now heading to Detroit for another go-round. He got a hefty two-year deal worth $52 million, so he did not come cheap. Perhaps the Pistons believe he's a piece who can help them get back to flirting with postseason status.

Malik Beasley - Detroit Pistons

Joining Harris in Detroit will be Malik Beasley, who signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons worth $6 million. He will be playing on a "prove-it deal" for the second straight season as he aims to secure a long-term commitment next free agency. If he performs well enough for the young Pistons, perhaps he will get it.

Cameron Payne - New York Knicks

Cameron Payne's time with the Milwaukee Bucks was brief, as he was only there for the first portion of 2023-24 before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He'll be staying in the Eastern Conference this coming season, as he agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks. The point guard will be a nice depth piece for what should be a very fun team in New York.

Joe Ingles - Minnesota Timberwolves

Rebounding from an ACL injury over the past two years, former Buck Joe Ingles hasn't looked like the consistent Sixth Man of the Year candidate he had grown into. He'll now have a chance to regain that form on one of the NBA's top teams, as he's heading to join the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he'll have an opportunity to be a second-unit contributor.
