More former Bucks free agents staying in the NBA

Sandro Mamukelashvili - San Antonio Spurs

There was a time when it felt like the Bucks might have had something on their hands with big man Sandro Mamukelashvili, but they ultimately opted to let him go. After spending the past season and a half with the San Antonio Spurs, the big man is staying put, signing a one-year deal to remain in Texas, where the 25-year-old will continue to grow with that young core.

Jeff Dowtin - Philadelphia 76ers

Remember Jeff Dowtin's time in Milwaukee? Maybe not, considering that he played just one contest - three minutes total - for the Bucks during the 2021-22 season. However, after concluding last season with the Philadelphia 76ers, he may have found himself a home, as the team re-signed the point guard this offseason.

Luke Kornet - Boston Celtics

Just like Jeff Dowtin, Luke Kornet played one game with the Bucks during the 2021-22 season via a 10-day deal. Since then, he's found a nice home with the Boston Celtics, a team he just helped win a championship. They understandably brought him back on a one-year deal, keeping the seven-year veteran in their locker room for at least another season.

Garrett Temple - Toronto Raptors

Another blink and you miss it Buck, Garrett Temple had a quick cup of coffee in Milwaukee during the 2010-11 season, appearing in nine games. The 38-year-old has been well-traveled during his career, earning journeyman status, but he's sticking around in Toronto for the second straight year to serve as a veteran for a young squad.
