Best NBA prop bets today for Magic vs. Bucks
- Damian Lillard OVER 27.5 points
- Wendell Carter OVER 20.5 points+ rebounds
- Jalen Suggs UNDER 2.5 3-pointers
Damian Lillard OVER 27.5 points
Lillard will have to handle the majority of the workload with Giannis Antetokounmpo likely to miss Wednesday’s contest. Lillard has been superb when the Greek Freak has missed time this season. In six games with Antetokounmpo sidelined, Lillard has averaged 32.3 points, 8.3 assists and 4 rebounds per game.
Lillard has gone over this number four times in his last nine appearances and that’s with Antetokounmpo on the floor. This won’t be hard to come by against an Orlando defense that travels well and is No. 3 overall in net rating, but Lillard’s increase in offensive opportunity will help him have another high scoring performance.
Wendell Carter OVER 20.5 points+ rebounds
Look for a nice plus-money payout on this rebounding prop for Carter, despite it being shaded over his rebounding average (7.2 per game) for the year. Again, this prop has a lot to do with Antetokounmpo’s status as a Milwaukee frontcourt that hasn’t been impressive this season could be shorthanded.
The Bucks rank 19th in the NBA in points in the paint allowed and their No. 5 defensive rebounding rate could take a hit on Wednesday. Carter has averaged 21.4 points+rebounds per game in five games this month. Orlando is No. 12 in the NBA in 2-point shooting this season and can take advantage of a nice matchup tonight.
Jalen Suggs UNDER 2.5 3-pointers
For starters, Suggs is shooting just 38.1% from 3-point range in April and has gone under this total for triples in nine of the last 12 games.
Orlando lets it fly at one of the lowest rates in the NBA. The Magic rank 28th in the NBA in 3-point attempts per game and Milwaukee is a top-10 defense in defending the perimeter. Take Suggs to go under this total as Orlando instead looks for opportunities to attack Milwaukee inside.
