Milwaukee Bucks basketball is right around the corner.

Although fans won't get to see Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard or many of the other veterans back in action, they will get a look at some of the young guns. The Bucks revealed their official 2024 Summer League roster, and it features plenty of intriguing names. Let's break down the roster, games and where to watch the festivities.

Who's playing for the Bucks during Summer League?

Milwaukee's Summer League roster features a handful of players on the actual Bucks roster, including MarJon Beauchamp, Chris Livingston, Andre Jackson Jr. and the two new draft picks in AJ Johnson and Tyler Smith. All three two-way players from last season, TyTy Washington, Jaylin Galloway and Ryan Rollins, will also be featured on the team.

Hugo Besson will also be making the trip from overseas. Despite being selected by the Bucks in the 2022 NBA Draft, he has yet to play a game for them. The plan with him is to keep him overseas and have him develop, and it will be interesting to see how much he has improved compared to last year.

It's interesting to see that soon-to-be third-year guard AJ Green is absent from the roster, but after fully guaranteeing his contract recently, they seemingly believe there's no need for him to participate. Green could be due for a breakout year in 2025, and keeping him off this roster seemingly signals that the team believes in his potential enough that they want to look closer at other young guys.
