The Giannis Antetokounmpo-Damian Lillard era got off to a slow start, but the star-studded duo has led the Bucks to four straight wins as they are playing like one of the top contenders in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Wizards are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings as they have lost five straight games heading into tonight’s matchup. With their current struggles, it’s not a shock to see Washington almost a double-digit underdog at home, where they are 1-4 this season.
Can the Bucks take care of business on the road tonight? Or will Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma give Wizards fans something to cheer for?

Bucks vs. Wizards key players to watch
Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo: The superstar forward has been playing at another level this month, posting 29.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. Antetokounmpo had a ridiculous performance over the last week against the Mavericks, dropping 40 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists in a seven-point win.
Antetokounmpo has scored 35 or more points in four out of his last five games and produced four double-doubles over that stretch. It will be tough for the Wizards to slow down the two-time MVP, who looks to be a contender for his third MVP.
Washington Wizards
Kyle Kuzma: With Jordan Poole struggling offensively, Kuzma has had to carry the Wizards’ offense this season. The 28-year-old small forward is scoring 23.5 points per game on 46.4% shooting from the field and 35.4% from three-point range.
Kuzma didn’t play well in the Wizards’ last game at home against the Knicks, as he dropped 19 points (8-21 FG, 3-8 3pt), five assists, and four rebounds. For Washington to snap its five-game losing streak, they will need at least 30 points from Kuzma, which might not even be enough vs. Antetokounmpo and Lillard.
Bucks vs. Wizards prediction and pick
The Bucks have been okay on the road this season, sporting a 3-3 record, but have won their last road games by double digits (Charlotte – 31 points, Toronto – 16 points).
However, Milwaukee is 2-4 against the spread as road favorites, which might make bettors wary to lay the points with them. But the Bucks are playing a Wizards team that has lost five straight games by 10.6 points per game and allows 122.9 points per game this season.
The Wizards are also 1-4 ATS at home and 0-3 ATS as home underdogs. The Bucks shouldn’t have any issues scoring tonight as they have the sixth-best offense in the NBA (119.2 points per game) and play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.2).
Meanwhile, Washington plays at the second-fastest pace in the NBA this season (103.6), making tonight’s game a track meet. Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee should thrive in this atmosphere tonight and win comfortably despite their defensive struggles.
