Wenyen Gabriel

Not only does big man Wenyen Gabriel have familiarity with Lillard - the two were briefly teammates in Portland during the 2019-20 season - but he also has ties to Wisconsin. Gabriel has been a staple for the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks' G-League affiliate, for years now, leading that team in Oshkosh.

With the Bucks likely to move on from Danilo Gallinari, the team will need a new body in the frontcourt. Gabriel could be an interesting fit, giving the team a 6-foot-9 big man who can play power forward or center when asked. That type of versatility could make him a strong addition to this bench, allowing the Bucks to get creative with their lineup combinations.

Not only does Gabriel have an impressive motor that could give this bench unit some life, but he also possesses quality athleticism, which this frontcourt rotation desperately needs. As he's shown in the G-League, he's a mobile big man who uses his athleticism and build to sky for rebounds and protect the rim. An injection of that would be of great use.

There won't be a free-agent bidding war for Gabriel's services this off-season. If the Bucks so desire, they could very well invite him to training camp to get a closer look at him. He's well-acquainted with the organization through his time with the Wisconsin Herd, and he could very well earn a call-up.
