3 Fresh trade packages to help the Milwaukee Bucks contend for a title

The last of the three trades sees Milwaukee bringing in a versatile defender who can move the ball and knock down open shots. Despite reports from HoopsHype's Michael Scotto that Brooklyn is looking for a protected first rounder in exchange for O'Neale, this is an opportunity the Bucks should jump on; the worst they can do is hang up the phone.

All three trades involve dealing away second round picks, which I think Milwaukee should do in order to make an upgrade. The only thing on their mind is the O'Brien Trophy, and a couple second rounders do not currently matter in the scheme of things. If Brooklyn were to shoot down this offer, the Bucks might have to tweak their proposal and add a young player to this trade, perhaps by adding Chris Livingston.

Fans seem to have quite the attachment to Pat Connaughton, but I can tell you right now Royce O'Neale would definitely bring more to the table for the Bucks squad. The defensive switch ability off the bench O'Neale offers would do wonders for Milwaukee's defensive problems. He also offers some of the playoff experience that fans worry we would lose dealing off Connaughton.

Stay tuned for more Milwaukee Bucks trade talk.
