The bond that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton have built over the years during their time together with the Milwaukee Bucks has been special to see.

When they first came to Milwaukee, one was an unknown prospect out of Greece, and the other was a throw-in, overlooked piece in a trade. Since then, over the past 11 years, they've developed into stars and champions on the basketball court. There's no denying their chemistry on the floor. However, a recent report highlights just how close they are off the court as well.

Giannis Antetokounmpo asked Khris Middleton to be his best man

On September 1, Giannis Antetokounmpo tied the knot with long-time partner Mariah Riddlesprigger. Fittingly, according to EuroHoops.net, not only was Milwaukee Bucks running mate Khris Middleton in attendance in Greece for the wedding, but he was Antetokounmpo's best man, standing next to him during one of the biggest moments of his life to date.

Per the report, other notable guests in attendance include former Milwaukee Bucks teammate and 2021 NBA Champion Jrue Holiday, as well as Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James in what was certainly a great celebration and milestone in the Greek Freak's life.

As a Milwaukee Bucks fan, it's special hearing that Khris Middleton was chosen as Giannis' best man, showing that their relationship transcends just basketball. They are two stars who will always define this era of Bucks basketball, and the off-the-court moments like this only cement that notion further.

This is simply another iconic moment between the two, something they have piece together plenty of over the years. Perhaps the most notable is Antetokounmpo turning to Middleton during a speech in the aftermath of winning the 2021 title and saying, "We did it, huh? We f****** did it," followed by a long embrace to take in the moment fully and highlight how far they've come.

Let us hope Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton aren't done making memories quite yet, as it feels like there are more chapters to write in this book. It all starts with how they handle things during the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.
