Versatility for days

Lillard, Wright, Middleton, Prince and Antetokounmpo.

The previous combination almost certainly will not be the only small-ball lineup the Milwaukee Bucks utilize this coming season.

As mentioned, the big question with Gary Trent Jr. is what he can provide defensively. His shooting will help in these lineups, but the defense is what could truly make or break it. If Doc Rivers wants a more defensive-minded piece in the lineup in his place, perhaps he could roll with versatile combo guard Delon Wright, who signed with the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this offseason.

The 32-year-old has made a living due to his defense, thriving off his 6-foot-5 frame that allows him to guard multiple positions when called upon. Having a defensive guard with that type of length will be a sizeable boost in these lineups, giving the Milwaukee Bucks a player who can switch constantly and take pressure off of backcourt mate Damian Lillard, who can then lock-in offensively.

With both Prince and Wright in the mix, this very well may be Milwaukee's most versatile lineup on the defensive end. Again, against a team like the Boston Celtics, who are filled with offensive talent at an assortment of different positions, having as many players capable of switching as possible is always a good thing on the defensive end.
