Delon Wright

As mentioned in the previous section, the signing of Trent will likely bump Delon Wright down to the second unit, where he'll operate as Milwaukee's backup point guard. Wright will primarily be on the court for his defense, but there will be times when he's tasked with running the offense by setting up his teammates and making the proper plays.

When Trent and Wright share the court, the former will help the latter due to his floor spacing. Trent is a lethal catch-and-shoot player, so he'll give Wright a reliable 3-point threat on the court, which could help the point guard rack up assists in a hurry as the primary playmaker. It will also place far less of a scoring burden on Wright, allowing him to do more elsewhere, such as on defense.

Khris Middleton

Given the countless injuries between the team's top three players, it was rare that Khris Middleton got to be Milwaukee's legitimate third-scoring option last season. When healthy, which he is expected to be by the start of the new season, he'll still be third on the pecking order, but Trent will be right behind him in terms of scoring.

With defenses having to focus on Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trent, Middleton won't be met with the opposing team's toughest defender often. Obviously, that means things will come far easier to him on the offensive side of things, allowing him to create better shots for himself while also being able to pass the ball to an elite 3-point shooter if all else fails.
