Damian Lillard

Lillard will always draw plenty of eyes defensively as teams aim to prevent him from putting the ball in the hoop. If they double him, Trent could be left open for a good look at a three. If they guard Lillard in single coverage to avoid leaving Trent wide-open, the point guard will have an easier time creating a shot for himself. It will be a tough decision for defenses, especially with the Greek Freak also there.

There are questions about how these two will look in the backcourt defensively, but there's no doubt that they will be one of the best shooting tandems in the NBA. Due to the sheer amount of attention Lillard commands from opposing defenses every possession, Trent could undoubtedly get his share of opens looks this season, and he's proven that he can knock those down.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Over these past few seasons, the Milwaukee Bucks have surrounded Giannis Antetokounmpo with at least one 3-point shooting specialist to better space the floor for him. Kyle Korver, Grayson Allen and Malik Beasley have all played the role. Of the bunch, it's not controversial to say that Trent is the best, and Antetokounmpo will benefit mightily from that.

When Antetokounmpo drives to the hoop, teams will have to send fewer bodies at him if they plan on sticking with Trent on the perimeter. If they do build the "Giannis Wall" and leave Trent open, he will be itching for a chance to hoist a wide-open triple. Again, like with Lillard, opposing defenses will have to make a decision of which player they want to focus on more defensively, which will free up the other.
