5. Jordan Nwora

The Bucks drafted Nwora in the second round in 2020 and signed him to two different contracts. He barely played as a rookie before jumping into the rotation in year two. The 6’8 wing did not make the cut in the playoffs before hitting free agency. The Bucks brought him back on a two-year $5.8 million contract, but he did not last much longer in Milwaukee.

Nwora was traded to the Pacers in a three-team deal. His stint there did not last long as he was dealt to Toronto after just 42 games. Nwora showed some flashes down the stretch with the Raptors but is again hitting the open market.

The Bucks desperately need help on the wing with Beasley, Crowder, and Pat Bev all hitting the open market. Nwora should just be entering his prime and is a possible reserve option. Finding talent will be their top priority. At least, Nwora has youth and size. His defense is problematic and the Bucks do not need another score-first player, but there are worse options.

Jon Horst drafted Jordan Nwora and re-signed him. The Bucks top decision-maker believes in his talent. Sometimes that is all it takes for a reunion in the NBA.
