Malik Beasley

Many were surprised when the Milwaukee Bucks managed to snag Malik Beasley on a minimum deal in free agency, as it was viewed as a bargain. In a B/R livestream with Chris Haynes, Beasley revealed that he actually turned down more money from the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks to bet on himself for a year and sign with the Bucks. Thus far, it's been a wise decision for the guard.

Starting in every contest this season for the first time in his career, Beasley has been a great starting shooting guard for Milwaukee, averaging 11.4 points while shooting 44.4 percent from behind the arc. He's done so while being relied on more defensively than he ever has been in his career, oftentimes taking on tough wing assignments from the opening tip off.

If Beasley continues this strong play after the NBA All-Star break, he could very well price himself out of the Bucks' range come this off-season. No shortage of teams would line up to land a marksman of his caliber on their roster in today's NBA. Of course, all of that will be sorted out later, as he's got to focus on helping the Bucks rebound from what has been a difficult and dysfunctional stretch lately.

All three of these players have what it takes to be key cogs for the Bucks down the stretch, and they could be rewarded handsomely if they are up to the task.
