One more perimeter defender wouldn't hurt

Given how much they were plagued by a lack of perimeter defenders last season, no one would fault the Bucks for adding as many as possible this off-season. Luckily for them, there are still several on the board at a variety of different positions.

In the backcourt, the aforementioned Dennis Smith Jr. and Josh Okogie would be nice pickups to add more defense. Patrick Beverley is unsigned and has let it be known that he's not opposed to a return to Milwaukee, so he cannot be ignored. Oshae Brissett or Lamar Stevens would add more length and youth at the forward position, which would be quite useful when defending the perimeter.

Even if it's just for depth purposes, bringing in another defensive-minded player who puts forth real effort on that side of the ball would help. Milwaukee has dealt with countless injuries over these past few seasons, so any depth is good depth. If they could add just one more perimeter defender at any position, it would be a solid way to round out the roster.

Whether it's through free agency or trade, the Bucks cannot be done making moves just yet, as there are a few questions that need solving before the season starts. Thankfully, there is a lot of off-season left for general manager Jon Horst and co. to operate.
