5 Teams that could poach Malik Beasley from the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency
By Dalton Sell
Utah Jazz
Like the Orlando Magic, the Utah Jazz are a team that will possess wiggle room financially and have a need for more outside shooting this off-season. They knocked in just 35.4 percent of their deep tries during the regular season, good enough for 22nd in the league. Beasley could likely help bump that percentage up a few ticks.
The Jazz and Beasley are well-acquainted, as the guard played there during the 2022-23 NBA season before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Perhaps the thought of reuniting could be enticing, as the guard is quite familiar with the territory and many of the players in it. He'd be a great threat on the perimeter for Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton and more.
With three Jazz guards, Kris Dunn, Kira Lewis Jr. and Talen Horton-Tucker, all set to hit free agency, Utah should be looking to bulk up their guard depth. If they can do so while adding a strong outside shooter, they could knock out two birds with a single stone. There's not much to dislike about the thought of Beasley filling both needs.
If the Jazz are willing to pay up, Beasley could possibly make his way back to town.
