Kris Dunn, PG, Los Angeles Clippers

Kris Dunn's defensive prowess is unquestionable. He's a tenacious defender who can disrupt opposing offenses. His athleticism and ability to guard multiple positions make him a valuable asset on the defensive end.

The statistics paint a picture of his skill quite well. When defended by Dunn, opposing guards only converted on 41.8 percent of their attempts, while forwards only scored 42.4 percent of the time, according to NBA.com/stats. The fact that he is asked to defend forwards for 30 percent of his minutes is extremely remarkable, considering he only stands at 6-foot-3.

However, his offensive limitations remain a concern. Dunn's shooting percentage needs improvement, and his playmaking abilities are limited. He struggles to create consistent scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. The Milwaukee Bucks need a point guard who can contribute on both ends of the court and facilitate their offense.

Considering the team already has Delon Wright set to take up most of the backup point guard minutes, it's tough to imagine Dunn carving out a solid role for himself on this team, even with everything he can provide. The reality is that he'd just be contributing to what's looking like a logjam at the backup guard spot as it is.

If the Bucks can acquire Dunn at the right price, he could be a valuable role player who solves some key problem areas in the Bucks' defense. At the same time, they must be realistic about his offensive limitations and evaluate whether he can provide the necessary impact on both ends of the court.

For this writer, the Bucks defense needs all the help it can get if it's starting Damian Lillard and Gary Trent Jr.
