3. Khris Middleton vs. Golden State Warriors, 2020

The season of the Bucks winning their second title also saw them take on the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day. Following 'the bubble', the NBA season started later and so this was just the third game of the season, and the Bucks ran out 138-99 winners.

Jrue Holiday was settling into the lineup and Giannis had a quiet game by his standard, but it was Khris Middleton who really stood out at Fiserv Forum. He ended the game with 31 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals as the Bucks were +21 with him on the court.

It wasn't just the statlines themselves but it was the efficiency of his scoring. Middleton only played 25 minutes and hit 10 of his 15 shots and more impressively was 6-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Giannis only scored 15 points, Donte DiVincenzo, D.J. Augustin, Holiday and Bobby Portis all added double digit points behind the lead of Middleton. Impressively, the Bucks held Stephen Curry to just 19 points and an very inefficient night, hitting just two of his 10 threes and six of his 17 shot attempts from the field.

This season has seen Middleton taking a backseat with the edition of Damian Lillard, but hopefully we can see another efficient night from him this year on the 25th. Maybe the season can also end with another title parade. Or am I getting ahead of myself?
