The Bucks' somewhat difficult months

October/November

The opening stretch of the Bucks' season is a weird combination of both easy and difficult. It has a lot of easy games (Bulls twice, Hornets twice, Wizards, Jazz, Raptors, Pistons, Nets) along with a bunch of difficult games against East contenders (Celtics twice, Cavaliers twice, Pacers, at Knicks and at Sixers). There don't seem to be many average games in this stretch.

This should be a fun way to start the year, with the Milwaukee Bucks being able to get "gimme" wins against bottom-feeders to keep a solid record while also testing themselves plenty of times against some of the best teams in the East.

February

The schedule starts to ramp up in February. There are plenty of difficult games this month, including a back-to-back against the Grizzlies and Thunder, another back-to-back against the Sixers and Warriors a week later, a road game against the Timberwolves and a home game against the Nuggets.

In that stretch with multiple back-to-backs from February 2 to 9, the Bucks will play six games in nine days, with four of those coming against the Grizzlies, Thunder, Sixers and Warriors. Then, two days later, they go on the road to face the Timberwolves. That week and a half should be a good litmus test for where the Milwaukee Bucks stand, assuming they are healthy.

In the middle of that difficult week is also the February 6 NBA Trade Deadline, which, assuming the Milwaukee Bucks make a move or two, could add to the difficulty of that stretch, given that they could be adjusting to a slightly different roster.
