1 Realistic free agent target the Milwaukee Bucks should pursue from each team

Indiana Pacers - Jalen Smith
The Milwaukee Bucks certainly won't be among the top suitors for Indiana's Pascal Siakam, given the hefty raise he will likely earn. Yet, they should be eyeing one of their forwards in Jalen Smith. It would not be the first time the Bucks have been linked to Smith, as Jake Fischer, then with Bleacher Report, mentioned that Smith was a possible target for them in 2022.
Again, the Bucks must add help behind Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis this off-season in some way, shape or form. Smith would fit the billing, giving the team a versatile, 6-foot-10 big man who can play both the center and power forward position. Having just turned 24, he could learn behind those two - if they are still on the roster next season - and perhaps become a long-term option.
Despite playing the second-fewest minutes per game in his four-year career, Smith arguably just had the best season of his career. Smith averaged 9.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and an assist while shooting a blazing 42.4 percent from deep. That shooting could be an outlier, given that he's buried 33.5 of his career triples, but if he can sustain it, it would make him a perfect fit next to Giannis in the frontcourt.
For Smith to hit the open market, he'd have to decline his upcoming player option worth $5 million. Perhaps he would if he thought there was an opportunity for greater playing time outside of Indiana. Only time will tell, but the Milwaukee Bucks should have an eye on him.
