Through three games, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece are 1-2 at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As we wait to hear the results from other matchups to determine what's next, it's time to highlight just how well the Greek Freak has been performing. After missing the end of the season in Milwaukee due to injury, Giannis looks to be back to being himself, as he's been dominating on the international stage during these matchups, showing how much the opportunity means to him.

Analyzing Giannis Antetokounmpo's stats for Greece

Game 1. Greece vs. Canada (Canada wins 86-79)

Antetokounmpo's most impressive performance to this point came in the opener against Canada, where he dropped 34 points on 11-of-17 field goal shooting, five rebounds and two assists. He was unstoppable on the offensive end, and even when Canada sent him to the foul line, he made them pay by shooting 12-of-15 at the stripe.

Despite Antetokounmpo's strong effort, Greece could not overcome a Canada team loaded with star NBA talent on a roster that features Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, R.J. Barrett and Dillon Brooks, among a handful of others. Greece only had one other double-digit scorer, with Kostas Papanikolaou doing his best to help Giannis Antetokounmpo while others struggled.

Game 2. Greece vs. Spain (Spain wins 84-77)

Against Spain, Antetokounmpo wasn't quite as dominant as he was against Canada, but he still took over for Greece, dropping 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting, 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals. One could argue that he was even more commanding in this one due to his stat-sheet-stuffing, doing everything he could in every aspect of the game to try and will this team to victory.

Once again, Antetokounmpo did not get much help from his teammates, as only one other player clocked double-digit points. It was also going to be difficult to stop Spain, led by Santi Aldama of the Memphis Grizzlies, when they shot an astounding 48.4 percent from deep. That shooting, paired with Greece's non-Antetokounmpo struggles, sent the team to 0-2.

Game 3. Greece vs. Australia (Greece wins 77-71)

With their backs against the wall, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece came out like a team that knew it had to win in their matchup versus Australia. Scoring-wise, Antetokounmpo wasn't as dominant as he was in the other games, having tallied 20 points, but that was because he finally got a boost from others, as three other Greece played hit double figures, led by Thomas Walkup's 18.

With his teammates taking a sizeable portion of the scoring load off of his shoulders, Antetokounmpo got to show off his facilitating prowess more than in the previous two games, tallying six assists. After an all-around team effort, Greece got their first win of the 2024 Paris Olympics by beating Australia, and they now wait to see the outcome of other games to determine what's next.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's current Olympics averages: 27 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals while shooting 68.9 percent from the field and 25 percent from deep.
