Gary Trent Jr.

There's an argument to be made that Gary Trent Jr. will be one of the most underpaid players not just on the Milwaukee Bucks, but in the league as a whole this coming season after the contract he signed in free agency. Eyeing to cash out next offseason, Trent will make $2.1 million in 2024-25, an absolute steal for a player of his caliber.

Trent, 25, is currently the 40th highest-paid shooting guard in the league. There are not 40 shooting guards better than Trent in the association. The Milwaukee Bucks just landed their clear-cut starting two-guard for incredibly cheap, and it shouldn't take long for Trent to adjust to playing with such a star-studded group that features former teammate Damian Lillard and others.

Last season, Trent averaged 13.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting an impressive 39.3 percent from deep (6.4 attempts per game). Looking closer at that perimeter shot, which is undeniably his best attribute, Trent led the NBA in 3-point percentage on "wide-open" looks among players to attempt at least 100 triples that fit the description at 51.3 percent, per NBA.com.

Trent's production is not that of a minimum player, as evidenced by the numbers. This is undoubtedly one of the best signings the Milwaukee Bucks have made in recent memory, and it could pay off in a big way this coming season.
