The Milwaukee Bucks have very few homegrown players on their roster, especially after their seismic trade this summer. With that in mind, there will be plenty of "revenge" games this season in instances where a player or coach faces off against their former squad. Let's look at a few examples.
Taylor Jenkins coaches against the Grizzlies
Everyone was shocked when the Grizzlies fired Taylor Jenkins right before the playoffs were about to begin in 2025. On December 12, he will have an opportunity to show they were wrong to do so as the Bucks visit the Grizzlies. Both teams are projected to take steps back this season after trading stars over the summer, but Jenkins should be fired up for this one.
Myles Turner greets the Pacers
Milwaukee got the best of Indiana last season, but with the Pacers set to be healthier, this rivalry is about to reawaken. Fans won't have to wait long to see the two sides go at it once again, as the Bucks will welcome the Pacers to Fiserv Forum in just their fourth game of the season on October 26. Myles Turner should have a chip on his shoulder to face his old squad.
Former Heat youngsters face new-look Heat
Just one of two nationally televised games for the Milwaukee Bucks this season, they will travel to Miami to face the Heat on November 18. Tyler Herro, Kasparas Jakucionis, Kel'el Ware, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. will be eager to face the team that traded them all. Of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo is now on the other side of things and will also be motivated to defeat his old squad.
Ousmane Dieng battles rising Thunder
As he looks to continue his breakout with the Milwaukee Bucks, Ousmane Dieng will have an early source of motivation as the team hosts the Thunder on November 28. OKC drafted the forward years ago and never truly unearthed his potential like the Bucks have, giving him a chance to show his old squad that they gave up on him too early.
Ryan Rollins gears up for the Warriors
A lot of people aren't aware that Rollins even played for Golden State, but yes, it's where he spent his rookie season before being traded to Washington. This was a clear instance of the Warriors giving up on a young player before he could truly spread his wings. Now, as a rising two-way threat with the Milwaukee Bucks, Rollins can rub salt in their wounds on December 20.
