In their first national television appearance in the regular season at home in over 14 years, the Milwaukee Bucks did not disappoint as they beat their rival Chicago Bulls 108-97 last night.

From the opening tip, the Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker, set the tone early by capitalizing on the Bulls’ many mistakes.

From a 12-point lead at the end of the first quarter to a 26-point lead well into the second, the Bucks landed hit after hit on the Bulls with little counters coming their way in return.

While the Bulls would make it an 18-point game at halftime, the Bucks picked up right where they left off to start the third quarter, stretching their lead to as large as 26 points again.

But as has been the case this season, that large lead slowly started to diminish as the Bucks offense started to run cold.  In turn, the Bulls started to heat up hit themselves, hitting timely three-pointers and regularly making it to the free-throw line.

However, the Bucks learned from their recent mistakes as they held off any comeback attempt from the Bulls with key scores and even bigger stops on the defensive end.  Wrapping the night with a wire-to-wire victory puts an end to the team’s 3-game losing streak and leaves them back over .500 once again.

So with that, let’s dive even further at who and what stood out the most for the Bucks in their win over the Bulls last night.
