In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we reflect on Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s sensational All-Star showing and react to the DeMarcus Cousins trade that sent shock waves around the league.

As we always do at this time of the week, our team gathered around to discuss the latest Milwaukee Bucks‘ news and most important conversation points, but this week’s Win In 6 Podcast has a different flavor to it.

Recorded directly after the All-Star game, we reflected on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s franchise-record breaking, star turn in New Orleans rather than narrowing in on what lies ahead for the Bucks post-All-Star break, etc.

With the week that’s in it, we may return for an extra episode in the coming days, but until we have a clearer picture on whether or not the Bucks are going to make a trade before the deadline, we’ll hold off on planning that for now.

More from Bucks News

Moving back to the present, we started off by talking about what it meant to see Giannis introduced on stage as an All-Star starter, before moving on to marveling at just how comfortable he looked in the game and hypothesizing over why exactly that was the case.

We also touched very briefly on some of the All-Star Weekend’s other festivities, although we had frequent diversions due to the story of DeMarcus Cousins being traded developing as we recorded. If you had previously imagined just how much more chaotic and disjointed Win In 6 would get if major news was to break while we were recording, now’s your chance to witness the wreckage first-hand.

Apologies to those who are only with us for Bucks conversation, but as one of the biggest trades made in the NBA in recent memory it’s a discussion that would seem pertinent to all NBA fans.

As usual, our mailbag was on hand to wrap things up too, with all of our questions also taking on an All-Star theme, and looking forward to how future All-Star games may involve the Milwaukee Bucks.

Joining me for this week’s episode were two of our contributors: Tim Wray and, pick-and-pop specialist, Jordan Treske.
