Final Grade
Some reasoning here: Giannis’ defense is more polished than his offense by far, so that grade is higher in my opinion. He can still improve in both facets though. I refuse to move Giannis’ overall grade into A range yet, because then next season when he improves I won’t have any grades left for him. So for now he sits at a B+.
The Greek Freak was one of the best Bucks all season, and always showed up and did everything he could to get Milwaukee a win. But this high B is not a grade based solely on effort. It’s hard to realize it sometimes, but although he can be much better Giannis is already a very good player in this league. My grade reflects his quality play this season for the Bucks, and also gives him some much-needed room to grow.
