Final Grade
Did O.J. Mayo erase the negative image he earned among Buck’s fans last season? Yes. Absolutely. The effort he played with on both sides of the ball was impressive and demonstrated a strong will to compete.
Were there moments that made you want to slam your forehead again and again on your desk? Sure there were; but for each ridiculous jumper he attempted there was another big shot that he made.
For a team that collectively shot very poorly, Mayo never shied away from taking (and making) big shots.
