The first international players draft in the last three NBA drafts are Evan Fournier, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Dante Exum. That’s what you call a mixed bag.

None of those three drafts, and indeed, none from this decade at all, have had this amount of top-shelf international talent (and yes, Mudiay counts, despite attending high school in the USA. I wanted to beef this piece up a little!). It’s a safe assumption that this draft yields at least one very good international player, most likely an all-star. One of Porzingis, Hezonja, or Mudiay is going to hit it big, it’s too talented a trio to fail.

So remember, you may not be as familiar with some of these guys, but that only gives your front-row seats to their rise to stardom that more intriguing.

P.S. huge shoutout to Dan Glassberg for the amazing art that graces these slides. Our limited exposure to these prospects limits our available photographs, so Dan stepped up huge and produced fantastic work. Give him a follow on twitter @OffTheGlassberg!
