Classing this one as a rumor is probably a bit on the strong side, but it’s an interesting hypothetical all the same. With questions remaining over whether the Milwaukee Bucks are finished with personnel moves for this offseason, the name of Kostas Papanikolaou has sprung into the mix.

Papanikolaou was traded to the Denver Nuggets as part of the Ty Lawson trade having spent his rookie season in Houston, but with reports suggesting that the Nuggets are considering waiving him to increase their cap space, a variety of teams could potentially be on high alert.
Former NBA executive, and now Twitter’s go to salary cap expert, Bobby Marks tweeted out some details of the potential Papanikolaou situation last night, and one of the names mentioned as a possible destination was Milwaukee.
It’s important to distinguish that Marks was not necessarily stating that the Bucks have an interest in the Greek wing, instead it was more of a case that they are a team who at least could make a deal work financially.
Beyond the fact that Bucks fans are more practised at spelling and pronouncing mind-bendingly long Greek surnames than any other NBA franchise, is there anything that could make the 25-year-old a fit in Milwaukee though?
