1st Place – Cleveland Cavaliers – 64-18
Is 64 wins an incredible and rare accomplishment? Absolutely. Is it unreasonable for these Cleveland Cavaliers to win that many games? I don’t think so. They have a great point guard, a couple of top Central Division big men, and oh yeah that LeBron James guy.
This team will be together and healthy for a full season for the first time, and expecting any less than dominance from LeBron and friends is probably being short-sighted. He’s incredible, and so is Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. They have great depth as well, considering J.R. Smith, Anderson Varejao, Mo Williams and Tristan Thompson (probably) will all be coming off of the bench for the Cavs next season.
The Central Division will be better than it was last season, but the Cavaliers will still definitely be the best team out of the bunch, and most likely will make a repeat appearance in the NBA Finals. Their opponent, on the other hand, could be one of four or five amazing Western Conference teams. It’s going to be a great year in the NBA.
