Games 10, 11, and 12 – Milwaukee vs. Cleveland, @ Washington, and @ Cleveland:
If the Bucks can start fast and make it to 9-0 they will definitely get tripped up in one of these games. If they were 9-0, I would imagine the Cavaliers would want to come into Milwaukee and crush them. If they somehow made it to 10-0 then losing in Washington to the Wiz or in Cleveland to the Cavs would be very likely.
The Bucks have a great opportunity to start this season off with a lot of wins either way. There’s always an element of unexpected losses in the NBA, but I think they’ll have a great chance at making a 9-0 run and setting themselves up well for the playoff race months down the line.
A good start will be paramount because tougher games are ahead after the first nine. The Bucks have the coach and players to do this, it is up to them to execute.
