5. The Bucks will win 45 games

If my predictions come true then the Bucks will be on their way to another successful season. This team has definitely improved in the offseason. Drafting Vaughn, the return of Parker, and the additions of Monroe and Vasquez make this Bucks team a much more talented group than the team that went 41-41 and were the sixth seed in the East last season.

That leads me to my final bold prediction: I think the Bucks are going to win at least 45 games this year and again be in the playoff picture. 45 wins could get them anywhere from the 4th seed to the 7th seed depending on the state of the Eastern conference this season.

I think the East as a whole is more formidable than last season. Since I have the Bucks winning more games it may translate back to the same seed they had last year. I think, regardless of playoff seeding, a 45 win season would mark a successful year for Milwaukee.

I don’t have the gumption to predict the Bucks knocking someone off in round one of the playoffs. I think they could and they will definitely be a difficult out, but beating a quality team, that will likely have home court advantage in a seven game series is going to be tough.

This isn’t a team that is going to have a cinderella run to the NBA Finals but this is a team that is going to make the playoffs and play like they belong there. They will push a quality team to six or seven games and if things break right the Bucks will move on in the playoffs.

Either way Milwaukee is primed for a successful season and for success in the future.
