Hello and welcome to the Behind the Buck Pass NBA Power Rankings for the month of December!
With the first month of NBA play in the books, it’s now possible to get a real sense of how teams are shaking out, and what they might look like over the course of the season.

As always there’s been some major surprises early on. There are teams have soared above expectations such as Indiana and Orlando, and for the same token there are teams who have fallen significantly below all pre-season projections, including our very own Milwaukee Bucks.
Where do we go from here though?
If we get a taste for how things have been going around the association, then we might have a better chance of being positioned to see what will play out in the coming months.
