Ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks opening their latest road trip against the Dallas Mavericks, we caught up with our friends at The Smoking Cuban to look ahead to the action.

Welcome to Opposition Intel!

The Milwaukee Bucks were very impressive for three quarters against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night and then it all fell apart. Perimeter defense went out the window, and just like that the difference between one of the conference’s best and one of their worst teams was crystal clear.

Heading on the road, it’s not likely that the Bucks are going to be in for a much easier time of it over the coming week either.

Milwaukee’s road struggles have been clear for all to see, as they’ve stumbled to a 3-13 record away from the Bradley Center. Heading into Dallas to face off with the impressive Mavericks doesn’t make it any easier to improve upon that record either.

Ahead of the action, we spoke to Dallas Mavericks writer Jay Knodell to find out exactly what to expect, and to learn about what matchups we should be looking out for.

Jay writes about the Mavericks as the editor over at FanSided’s The Smoking Cuban. You can follow him on Twitter at: @jknodell4.

Let’s take a look at what he had to say.
