In an action packed and bizarre Saturday night in the Twin Cities, the Milwaukee Bucks somehow prevailed over the Minnesota Timberwolves in spite of O.J. Mayo.

After a disastrous start to proceedings, the Milwaukee Bucks put together three strong quarters as a unit to finish off their road trip with a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, and to go 2-2 through a stretch of four road games which included three .500 teams.

The Bucks opened out shooting 3-17 from the field and not making a field goal for just under nine minutes, but rallied as a group as both the starters and the bench played their part in shooting 50 percent for the remaining three quarters that followed.

They were forced to fight back without the help of O.J. Mayo, the man who has so often been described as the teams veteran leader this season, as Mayo picked up two technical fouls in quick succession before proceeding to lose his mind and attempt to aggressively chase down the referee in the aftermath of the first quarter decision.

Giannis Antetokounmpo lost a tooth for good measure too.

The performance was far from the best that we’ve seen from the Bucks this season, but the way in which they managed to grind it out under the circumstances is certainly cause for a little optimism.

Behind a strong team effort, if not a great performance, Milwaukee got it done. Let’s get down to our grades and reactions.
