Week 14 of the NBA season was not too kind to the Milwaukee Bucks as they won only one of their three games. Three players stood out from the rest to earn their spot in the Bucks player of the week rankings.

This week marked the return of head coach Jason Kidd to the sidelines. In Kidd’s first game back from hip surgery the Milwaukee Bucks matched up against the Orlando Magic. The Bucks welcomed their head coach back with style, winning 107-100.

The rest of the week was not as exciting. Milwaukee fell to both the Memphis Grizzlies and the Miami Heat. The loss to the Grizzlies was particularly painful as the Bucks seemed to not have much of a chance the entire time. Memphis pummeled Milwaukee to the tune of 103 to 83.

Against Miami, Milwaukee played really well. The Bucks competed until the final whistle and if it were not for Miami’s Dwyane Wade going into superhero mode in the final minutes Milwaukee would have likely won.

More from Bucks News

Overall, there were three Bucks players who performed relatively well in all three games this week. Even though they had some individual success they did not do enough collectively to push the team to success. It is hard to blame them for the losses but they definitely played their part by making mistakes and letting opportunities slip through their fingers.

The Milwaukee Bucks player of the week and the other two players that join him in the rankings did not have much competition from their teammates this week, in terms of pushing them for positioning in the rankings. Only one Buck can say he was potentially snubbed this week. While in other weeks there are three or even four other Bucks who make a great case for inclusion in the rankings.

Let’s find out who made the cut in week 14!
