NBA Draft 2016: BTBP Big Board 1.0
By Adam McGee
With the potential for the Milwaukee Bucks pick in NBA Draft 2016 still open to fall anywhere across the board, we kick off our draft coverage at Behind the Buck Pass with a top 30 Big Board.
We’re approaching mid-February that has not gone to plan for the Milwaukee Bucks. Although many fans of the team may still be hoping otherwise, the reality is that by the time late spring and early summer rolls around, those in Milwaukee will be focusing on draft picks rather than the playoffs.
With a strong core of talent already in place, that doesn’t have to be a bad thing though. If this is just a one-year drop off that sees the Bucks fall into the lottery and pick up another useful talent, so be it.
With their current record, if the season was to never restart after All-Star break, the Bucks would likely find themselves picking eighth overall, with a one in eight chance of landing in the top three. Saying that, being only a couple games back of the sixth spot, and a one in five chance, there’s a lot to ponder in terms of talent.

We’ll assess talent in detail with player profiles multiple times a week from our crew of staff writers including some draft specialists. We’ll bring you all the fun of mock drafts and talent projections. Then when workouts begin prior to the draft we’ll bring you all the updates you need too.
What better way is there to kick off an exciting few months ahead of the draft than by looking at some of the best talent available though?
With the picks of two of our draft experts Jordan Treske and Andrew Snyder, we’ve compiled our current first round big board. Brief writing contributions come not only from Jordan and Andrew, but also from myself (editor-in-chief Adam McGee) and managing editor Ti Windisch.
The big boards will be updated and posted regularly, before the shift into Mock Drafts based on fit a little closer to the draft.
In the meantime, get acquainted with many of the players who Milwaukee will be choosing from come draft night. Let the excitement for the NBA Draft 2016 begin!
