John Henson – 2.0 blocks per game – 6th in the NBA
John Henson may not be fantastic at a lot of things on the NBA level, but his shot-blocking ability is truly elite. Henson is averaging 2.0 blocks per game in under 17 minutes per game. No other player averaging more than 1.2 blocks per game is playing less than 20 minutes per contest.

Henson is still second to only Hassan Whiteside in blocked shots per 36 minutes. Whiteside is also an incredibly talented shot-blocker, but he gets far more consistent minutes to operate in than Henson does.
Unfortunately lately the Bucks haven’t been able to give Henson a chance to pass Whiteside thanks to his back injury.
Hopefully he can return to full health soon–he might have a starting job waiting for him when he does.

John Henson is going to lead the Milwaukee Bucks in blocks per game for as long as he’s with the team. If Henson has a long career with the Bucks, he may even take the top spot for blocked shots on the franchise leaderboard. That’s a tall order, but luckily Henson has some pretty long arms.
