For all intents and purposes, the Milwaukee Bucks had a good week. They helped push their post All-Star break record up to .500 by winning two out of their last three games.

It is promising to see that the young core of the team have been the main contributors in the recent success. Sure winning 50 percent of your games is not some amazing accomplishment but for a Bucks team that was winning about 40 percent of their games before the All-Star break that is a notable improvement.

The ups and downs of this season have hurt some players and helped others. Even though the record has not been what the players, coaches, front office, and fans wanted to see, the Bucks core is improving. That is something everyone who likes the Bucks should be excited about and something everyone who cheers against Milwaukee should fear.

This week the Bucks took on the Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Bucks took care of business against the Rockets and T-Wolves but were bested by the Pacers.

It was easy to decide who the top three players of the week were. There were two players that missed the cut who would have been worthy candidates at some other points during the season. But the big three this week were just too good to give anyone else a chance to sneak into the rankings.

Let’s get to it!
