The Milwaukee Bucks are a quirky team to watch this season. Opponents must know by now that the Bucks are entirely carried by their three young stars, yet those three continue to do enough to get Milwaukee some important wins.

That was the case on Wednesday night, as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, and Khris Middleton combined for 69 of the Bucks 114 points.

Everybody knows which three players will do most of Milwaukee’s work, but opponents are still unable to shut down those three guys most nights. That’s impressive.

More from Bucks News

If the Bucks had a real bench, maybe more wins would flow in. But at the moment, if other teams can neutralize one of Middleton, Parker, and Antetokounmpo then they can beat the Bucks.

That’s life for a young, shallow team.

This season is really just a stop on the road to having an experienced, deep, contending team. That’s what we’re all hoping for, anyway.
